Sunday 21 February 2010 - Batts Park Meander (and Vivary Green Wedge)

This is a fairly gentle walk of about 4 miles. We will go over Cotlake Hill (a very small bump - you might not notice a climb until you reach the top). On a fine day the view is worth the effort. It can be muddy - it all depends on the weather.

Some cars may be parked on the drive of 5 Batts Park. If you would like to stay for tea afterwards a mug and folding chair might be useful. We can seat about 15. Large numbers might overflow into the hallway. It could be a bit chaotic but we hope you won't mind.

Shirley

NB The walk will go through the Vivary Green Wedge on which Taunton Borough Council want to build some 750 houses on the Eastern (Killams, Wyvern Club) side.
